We both attended Chaska High School and had quite a few classes together. We got to know each other better in math class and would work on problems together with our friends. At some point my friends took this picture to tease me for talking to a cute boy between classes.

We started working at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater together. Andrew helped train me on how to run trays of food around the building. On the first night of training I shattered a few plates and Andrew helped me through it. I broke a lot of dishes there, and Andrew helped me clean up a lot of broken dishes.

We officially started dating on April 20th after Andrew asked me to Junior Prom. On our first date Andrew taught me how to drive his manual 1990 Dodge Dakota. While only a few blocks away from the house the engine blew up and smoke was everywhere. I thought it was fine because Andrew didn't seem very worried (he was hiding it). Little did I know it was the start of a very, very long rebuild project.

We graduated high school together, looking forward to both going to University of Wisconsin schools that were only 30 minutes apart. In our final year of high school we attended a lot of school dances, football games, and band concerts. We were both nominated as royalty at our Senior Prom. We also travelled together for the first time to visit my grandparents in Florida over Christmas.

Our first international trip brought us to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Throughout college we also traveled in the states doing roadtrips to Duluth, Chicago, Denver, and Fort Collins. By the time we get married we will have been to 13 states, 9 countries and 4 continents together.

We both graduated college with honors in December 2019. Andrew graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Mechanical Design. I graduated from UW- Eau Claire with a Bachelor's of Arts in Marketing Analytics, Business Finance, and Fine Arts Administration.

Andrew proposed on the top of Mt. Maunganui in Tauranga, New Zealand. We were on a 3 week trip to Australia and New Zealand and Andrew waited until the second to last stop on the cruise to propose. The hike up the mountain took a few hours and it was almost 100 degrees. I kept offering to turn around but Andrew was very insistent. He showed me a spot where you could stand on the edge and see the ship when he got down on one knee. It also happened to be Australia Day so the ship that night was one big party, a great way to celebrate with all our friends!
