Our Wedding

No one ever forgets the day you begin dating the person you end up marrying, esspecially when it's done in the most awkward way possible! It's no secret that there is a large age gap between us, and that definitley added to the pressure. I was awoken at midnight to find a text message from Josh telling me that he would regret it for the rest of his life if he didn't take the chance and asked to take this leap of faith with him. Within a few months of us being together we both knew we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. We began going to anime/video game conventions together due to my love for cosplay. He always was against the idea of dressing up in costumes and prancing around a convention hall looking a little goofy. Until he saw me in my cosplay, then he asked me to make him one! Now, we don't go to a single convention without a different cosplay for each day. Which means if I want a new cosplay it means I'm making 2, one for me and him! It's become one of our favorite hobbies and pass times and it's one way we fell even deeper in love. We spend most of our free time and "dates" finding ways to try new foods, wines, board games, and video games. We've found peace with each other in these moments. We don't need to go out to have a good time, we just need a pizza and a couple of controllers. We spend our nights before bed watching snippets of movies to fall asleep to mixed with some cuddling (normally after he gives me a nightly foot rub to help me fall asleep). We whisper words of affirmation to each other even if the other person is already asleep, in hopes that the positivity will ring through our heads through the night. The day Josh asked me to marry him, it took me over a minute to say "yes". The look of shock was lovingly captured by our group of friends who helped organize everything. When I came to my senses I enthusiastically said "I will marry you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you". We are so in love that it is almost sickening, and we are so happy to have everyone come together to celebrate this love we have. We have enjoyed every second of our adventure together so far, and we cannot wait to continue to make more memories together as husband and wife.

Frankie and Sarah have been friends since their Panera days, and then eventually worked together at Lincoln Financial. Through the years they have become inseparable, and have done it all together, from going to Two EE's Winery, to seeing AJR live in concert. There are not enough words to describe how crazy, yet kind, she can be. Frankie and Sarah will be in a retirement home together in the future; tasting wines, eating cheese, and gossiping like a year hasn't passed. 

Frankie

Brittany is the definition of "looks cute but is actually terrifying". She can be the life of the party or the person you can lean on when going through a rough patch in life. Brittany has enthusiasm in everything she talks about; you can hear the joy in her voice when she speaks. She is one of the kindest and funniest people you'll ever talk to, but she will destroy you in any rhythm game while telling you what dog breed she relates to you the most.

If you're looking to nerd out and also find inspiration then Anna is your girl. She has been such an inspiration to Sarah and recruited her into her special interest that sparked a life long friendship. You can talk to Anna for less than 30 minutes and instantly have a new special interest. Her creativity knows no bounds, nor does her ability to defy the odds (even if you tell her it's impossible).  She will make you question your sanity with her out-of-pocket opinons that kind of make sense in the weirdest way, and she always keeps you questioning her next move.

Anna

A classic story of a common-interst bringing people close together is the story that Sarah and Nyx have. They and Sarah became close in their common love of Mass Effect and Cosplay. In just a short few months they and Sarah became amazing friends due to a few simple interests that they have based most of their life off of. They are one of the most kindest/talented souls you will ever meet. Once they put their mind to something, you can consider it done. They are a true inspiration to Sarah and many other people in the lives they enter.
