Sarah and Noah both attended the University of California, San Diego, where they were scholar-athletes. Sarah was on the Track and Field team and Noah was on the Baseball team. One Saturday night, during the start of the 2019 winter quarter, fate brought Noah and Sarah to Millwood Rd (if you know, you know) to attend an athlete party. After having some insight into each others' lives, due to a brief conversation online a couple of months prior, Noah decided to give it a shot and ask for Sarah's number. A few days later, Sarah was on Noah's couch watching Grey's Anatomy with Cam (our built-in third wheel and best friend) watching from the dining room table. Sarah and Noah refer to this evening as their trial run before their official first date that very Friday. A couple of weeks later, on January 31st, Noah asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. The rest was history.

Noah popped the question in Yosemite! All Sarah cared about was being surprised, and she definitely was! Once the group arrived at Tunnel View lookout, Sarah set the boys up for a perfect ring transfer by walking across the parking lot to throw away her Diet Coke (of course). They got to the lookout point just in time for Noah to get on one knee before the tour bus of people made their way over. It was perfect!
