Sarah and Ethan first met in the beer tent at the Auglaize County Fair on August 6, 2021. Naked Karate Girls were playing and Sarah accidentally bumped Ethans arm. He then made the first move towards Sarah and asked to buy her a drink. They spent the rest of the night together and even met up the following night as well.

Their first date was at Bob Evans on August 8th.

They spent more time together and Ethan eventually asked Sarah to be his girlfriend on September 18, 2021 at a Cincinnati Reds game.

Almost 2.5 years later, Ethan purposed to Sarah at the exact spot they met in the fairgrounds on February 19, 2024.

The day of the wedding will be 4 years and 1 month since they first met.
