Our Wedding

Chris and I met freshman year at Rockhurst University. He did not leave the best first impression. I thought he was obnoxious. He may or may not have been under the influence. He found out I was from Texas and kept asking me to bring him a cowboy hat the next time I went home. Throughout our years at Rockhurst, being in the same friend group, we started becoming good friends. Wether we were at a house part or out at the bars, at some point in the night we’d end up sitting next to each other having the greatest conversations. During our senior year, he confidently told me many times that a guy that I was dating was not the right guy for me... Chris would tell me he was the guy I should be with. Well sure enough that ended up happening. Chris decided to go back to Omaha to take a few more business classes to be able to take CPA exams. I was having a hard time finding a job in KC, so once again he convinced me to look into a plan B. Look for a job in Omaha. I applied for a job in Omaha for “shits and giggles” as Chris would say, had an interview later that week over Skype. The following week I interviewed in person and got the job. It was meant to be. The rest from there is history. Our relationship continued to grow. After being together for 4 years, Chris asked me to marry him on 9-15-18 while in Australia. We were over looking the harbor with the opera house in the background while the sun was setting. Couldn’t have been more perfect.
