Sarah and Michael met in January of 2021 in the wonderful city of Middletown, NY. Sarah was living in Middletown at the time while she was working at Delaware Valley Elementary School as a Music Teacher and Michael was home in New Windsor, NY visiting his family. At the time, Michael was living in Meridan, CT while he was working for Tata & Howard as a Field Engineer. Although their initial meeting was delayed by a few weeks due to Sarah's sudden case of COVID-19 (aka, cold feet), when they finally did meet, they were instantly inseparable.

Michael and Sarah spent the first year of their relationship long distance, though it didn't really feel like it because they spent every minute of their free time together. As Michael and Sarah began to meet each other's family and friends, they instantly felt at home in each other's lives. Not only did they quickly fall in love with each other, but they became the best of friends as well. They found activities they love to do together, such as bowling, hiking, singing in the car (well, Sarah sings, Michael is the audience), watching reality tv. and playing bingo with a bunch of old people every Sunday night.

In the Spring of 2022, Michael landed a new job as a Jr. Project Engineer at Piramal Critical Care in Bethlehem, PA. Sarah was elated that he would now be working in the same state as she. But things got better, as Sarah also landed a new job at a performing arts high school in Bethlehem. Fate was finally bringing them together where they would now not have to spend an hour and a half in the car to see each other. And, to top it all off, they were to be joined by their beautiful mini goldendoodle puppy named Penny. The three of them happily moved to the town they would now call home: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

As life goes, Michael and Sarah faced challenges throughout their relationship. These challenges and obstacles only served to bring these two closer together than ever. Sarah learned that the man she fell in love with is one of the strongest, bravest, most determined people she has ever known. She leaned on him for support, and he always was there to catch her when she fell. Sarah got to see Michael grow into this amazing, dependable man who she hopes to call the father of her children one day. Michael got to watch Sarah conquer some amazing things in the short time they have been together, and he couldn't be prouder of her.

In the fall of 2023, Michael knew it was time to make their commitment to each other more permanent. With the help and blessing from both Sarah's and his parents, he went forward with his plans to ask Sarah to be his wife. On October 15th, 2023, in the beautiful town of Spring Lake, NJ (Thank you Billy & Katie Bott for giving us an amazing excuse to be in this gorgeous beach town), Michael got down on one knee, and Sarah answered yes to the easiest question she's ever been asked. Now, the two of them are excitedly planning the wedding of their dreams, and can't wait to share this special day with the people they love and cherish most in their lives.
