If you’re looking for day trip ideas of other places in New England to visit while you’re in town:

-Providence is the closest major city (~30 min drive). It has all the amenities (parks, concerts, live sports, great restaurants) of a big city without the congestion of a big city

-Newport is also a half hour drive away. It is a beautiful coastal town with lots of shops & restaurants all along the harbor. Also check out the Cliff Walk or do a mansion tour

-Boston is about an hour drive depending on traffic. There are endless things to do in Boston from duck boat tours, to the Freedom Trail, to getting Italian food in the North end, to catching a Red Sox game at Fenway

-Other day trip ideas within a 1.5 hour drive include Cape Cod, Plymouth, & Mystic, CT

If you’re looking for breakfast recommendations:

-the best place <15 min away is a Latin cafe called Mirasol’s in Dartmouth. Otherwise there are plenty of Dunkin’s & Starbucks nearby

-Go into Providence if you’re willing to take a short drive. 95% of our favorite breakfast places are there including Ellie’s, Providence Bagel, Nitro Bar, and PVDonuts to name a few

-Fall River is known for Portuguese food. Check out Caravelas downtown

-Chomp for burgers in Providence or Warren, RI

-Xaco for tacos in Providence

-India Restaurant for Indian food in Providence
