Yes! The ceremony will be outside on the front patio of the museum, weather permitting, and inside the auditorium if over 90 degrees or raining. The reception is happening in the 3rd floor grand ballroom/foyer/balcony which is accessed by steps or elevator.

Yes! Our guests are allowed to walk around almost the entire museum, including the balcony that looks above the grand ballroom.

Cocktail hour will happen within the foyer and balcony of the 3rd floor. You are more than welcome to go back through the lobby and outside to mingle if the weather is nice!

Yes. If you stay in a hotel, they will have parking. There is also a parking garage underneath Soldiers and Sailors that can be accessed for the night. Parking on the street in Oakland is also an option!

No, the hotel and venue are walking distance to one another. (5 minute walk- literally!)

We'd appreciate if you followed the formal cocktail theme attire and we are encouraging bright colors!!

We will be having a cocktail hour right after the ceremony starting at 5:30pm with light hors d'oeuvres/drinks and dinner being served at 7:00pm. We are planning an open bar with beer + wine as well as a buffet style dinner with different entree and side options. Plus a cookie table!!

Yes- we are going for a romantic, sunset, disco party.
