Grady's opening line had Sarah hooked and it's true, the foundation of their relationship is largely based on spicy food and their love for hot sauce.

Their trust in one another really grew on their second date when they decided to learn how to rock climb. They ended up taking a class and learned how to belay each other at the rock wall in Chicago's Maggie Daley park, pictured above. Once the instructor's taught them the basics, it was a surprisingly hands off experience. Grady and Sarah both came out injury free and had a fantastic date filled with jokes and laughter.

They continued getting to know one another on adventures both locally and abroad. Traveling and exploring new places is something they both love to do.

After a few years of dating they decided to move in together and less than a month after that, COVID hit and they were both working from home in a small one bedroom apartment. It was definitely a learning experience, but they came out the other side with a stronger bond and a need for more space. Soon after they moved to a townhome in Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood and adopted their fur baby Piper.

Fast forward a year to May 2021, Sarah and Grady took their annual birthday trip (fun fact, their birthdays are one day apart!) to the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. While they were walking through a tulip field, Grady dropped to one knee and proposed. There were a few cheers from passerbys and Sarah said YES!

They both cannot wait to celebrate with you all this June. It will be a blast and night full of love to remember!
