WHEN ARE SARAH AND CHRIS GETTING MARRIED?
Sarah and Chris will be getting married earlier in the day on May 4th at a small ceremony at St Jude Parish. The reception is a way to celebrate with all of our family and friends who have been such an important part of our journey.
WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION AT THE RECEPTION VENUE?
The reception will be at Common House, in downtown Chattanooga. Common House provides complimentary valet parking for wedding guests. When you drive up to the venue, please communicate to the valet that you are here for the wedding. Taking an Uber/ Lyft is also an option for those who prefer not to drive.
CAN I BRING A PLUS-ONE?
Due to having limited space at the reception venue, we carefully weighed out a headcount on our invitations. If we have the space for you to bring along your partner or plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP. Thanks for understanding :)
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This event is semi-formal/ cocktail attire. Here's a little blurb from the internet that sheds some light on what this means:
"Cocktail attire, sometimes also referred to as semi-formal, is one of the most classic wedding dress codes. It’s a safe bet for couples who would like their attendees to dress up a bit, without the event feeling too stuffy. It also gives wedding guests a lot of freedom so that they don’t feel like they have to go buy a new outfit to wear for the big day."
WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE?
Chattanooga is beautiful in early May. The temperature will likely be in the mid 70s. Our reception is indoors, so no need to worry about rain.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Due to the capacity of the venue and the amount of family and friends we would like to include in our special day, we have included everyone we can add to the gust list on your invitations. As much as we would like to have everyone's children join the celebration, it is unfortunately necessary that we stick to the guest list that was sent out. We apologize to those whom we could not invite! (If anyone is in need of a babysitter for the wedding, please let Sarah know, she is developing a list.)
WILL ALCOHOL BE PROVIDED?
Yes! There will be an open bar, with beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails.
WILL THERE BE GLUTEN FREE/VEGETARIAN/DAIRY-FREE OPTIONS AT DINNER?
Yes, we will provide a limited number of gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options for those who RSVP with the speciality menu selection.
