Sarah and Adam met at Rutgers, but it wasn't until September when Sarah finally gave in and agreed to meet for a first date. Changing the plan last minute, (literally 30 minutes beforehand), Sarah coerced Adam to attend a group hibachi date with her best friend, her best friend's boyfriend, and 10 of his friends. Casual! Luckily, Adam was able to talk to the guys about watches and cars, so he made out just fine. It went well to Sarah's surprise, to say the least.
Adam continues to impress Sarah with his skills in communication and planning, until their second date, at the winery. Watching him drop the entire flight of wine glasses on the pavement, Sarah was given an opportunity to run. But she stayed! This time, the two got to know each other in a private setting, chatting over wine, which would soon become their favorite activity.
Despite the little hiccup they ran into during Sarah's first introduction to Adam's friends (the one where she spent years getting ready) she succeeded in her shot at redemption. This is a photo of them that night. She probably still spent years getting ready. It's better to show your true colors early on, anyway.
Advancing into the first few holidays, Sarah and Adam have officially started dating, and it only goes up from there.
Holidays breeze by and summer swoops in, when Adam realizes he has a decent place to sleep for once at the Jersey shore (Sarah's condo in Bay Head). Extending the invitation out to friends of both sides, the summer of 2019 was a fabulous bonding opportunity for them and their friends. Everyone really enjoyed fighting over who got to sleep on the couch and who would be on the floor. It really brought the gang together.
Really growing up together, Sarah and Adam attend her best friend, Sophia's wedding. Sarah watched Adam with all her friends that night and realized he had to be the one.
Sarah visits Adam in D.C. and learns all about Adam's love for history (and the U.S. constitution). Learning more that weekend than she did K-12, Sarah realized she could really benefit from keeping him around. This was their first of many trips they would have together.
They go to Arizona, visit her sister, see the Grand Canyon, and make great mems.
They go skiing!
They continue to enjoy the beach and have fun!
And they continue to build a love for Charlie's in Bay Head, attending dinner there 2x a month while finding a reason to go for every special occasion.
Together, they go on the best trips, have the most memorable dates, and enjoy every beach day that they can.
Little did Sarah know, they would have something to be drinking for just a week following!
She thought it wouldn't happen, until it happened!
And now, it's time to get married! They had the most fun engagement shoot, and can't wait to see everyone at the wedding.
