Sarah & Jacob

We first noticed each other at the gym in December 2020. We never spoke, but we were secretly each other’s gym crush. A little later, Jacob found my social media through a mutual friend, and we started messaging. We talked off and on, but life took us in different directions.

In October 2022, I was back home from college and tried a new gym—one right next to Jacob’s house. We ran into each other again, and I finally said hi. I thought it was just a polite moment, but it stuck with Jacob. Still, we went our separate ways.

Then, in December 2023, Jacob reached out. The timing felt too perfect not to be from the Lord. We started talking again, met up at the gym, and the workout might have been forgettable, but the connection wasn’t. A few days later, he took me on our first date on New Year’s Eve.

Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend on January 28, 2024. The way he asked was thoughtful and genuine; qualities that define him in everything he does. Of course, I said yes.

From that point on, we’ve been learning how sweet and steady love can be—growing closer through road trips, everyday routines, and long talks about the future. We met each other’s people, made countless memories, and prayed through many circumstances. Every step made it clearer that we wanted to keep choosing each other for a lifetime.

On May 16, 2025, after many months of careful planning and preparation, Jacob asked me to be his wife. The moment was perfect, surreal, and so us. We’d be lying if we said we didn’t see it coming, but we’re so grateful for every green light God gave us to lead to that day.
