If you are coming to our wedding party on July 5th, 2025 you should also plan to come our open house! Stop by our home for food and drinks. Come when you can and stay as long as you want.

Where should we eat?

Phuket Cafe, Tanaka Bakery, Nostrana, Momo Yama, and Ramen Ryoma are some of our favorite places to eat.

Where should we drink?

Pink Rabbit, Teardrop Lounge, Colibrí, and Raven's Manor are our favorite bars. Tea Bar and Junbi are great places for boba and tea. In J and Cinco Siete have great coffee.

What can we do in Portland?

Take a trip to the Lan Su Chinese Garden and have tea. Go to the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden (both are next to each other) and make a reservation at the Japanese Teahouse. Walk around Powell's book (world largest privately owned bookstore) for hours. Walk on the waterfront path. Go to the Saturday Market, an arts market, on the waterfront on Saturday. Go to the Saturday Farmers Market on PSU campus. Walk around Mt. Tabor Park.

What can we do outside of Portland?

Enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding at the Next Adventure Scappoose Bay Sports Center. They have rentals by the hour. Hiking, mountains and the beach are all within 1.5 hours outside of Portland. There lots of hiking in the city, but, if you are looking for something outside of Portland, Multnomah Falls is a short ride from the airport and an icon of Oregon. Mt Hood is a special place for us since it's where we got married. You can visit Timberline Lodge, our wedding venue, while you're on Mt. Hood, hike around the lodge, and have lunch. Mirror Lake is a great hike with incredible views at the base of Mt. Hood. Cannon Beach is our favorite coastal town, famous for haystack rocks seen in the Goonies movie. You can walk around the shop in the town and have lunch. If you are curious, let one of us know and we'd be happy to give you recommendations on your stay,

We are staying in an AirBnB what neighborhoods would you recommend?

We love Alberta, Mississippi, and Albina, the historic black district of Portland. We also recommend Ladds Addition (close to the neighborhood we live in) and Sellwood (our neighborhood). Slabtown, Downtown, and the Pearl are very fun and convenient neighborhoods for the party.
