First Friday - Open Galleries and Live Music!

Our wedding will be on the tail of the first Friday of the month. Every first Friday, downtown Knoxville has an array of open galleries, live music, and more!

Look for the trolley marked ArtWalk! It's FREE and will take you between Market Square, Gay Street and the Old City.

Check the link closer to our wedding for events that will be happening during the May 2025 First Friday. Pro tip: get a sneak peak of our reception venue (Emporium Art Gallery). They usually have some live music going on during the first Friday art walk!

Scenic Drive

Rented a car or drove in? Take a scenic drive through the mountains. Cades cove and blue ridge parkway are popular.

Market Square & Gay Street

Lots of shopping and restaurants in and around market square. This area is walkable from the reception venue! We recommend downtown grill and brewery for some local beer, and Petros for some chili that is a knoxville staple.
