We've reserved a small block of rooms for you to book across the street from Gibsons at the Thompson and a short walk away at the Viceroy - the link to book a room in these blocks is in the "Travel" page of our website. If you want to book a room in our blocks, make sure to do so by March 12 as the rooms will be released on this date. Rooms will be available on a first come first served basis. Additionally, there are plenty of other great hotels, AirBNBs and VRBOs in Chicago, and our venue is accessible via public transit or cab from anywhere in the city.

If you're staying in - or near - the city and your accommodations offer parking, we recommend leaving your car where you're staying. In this case, you can either take public transit (make sure to download the Ventra app and add your credit/debit card to your account), or take a cab to our venue. If you're not staying in the city, we recommend booking parking ahead of time using the Spot Hero app. Gibsons also offers valet parking for $17 (cash only).

When you arrive at Gibsons main entrance off of Rush Street (look for the big sign), check in with the hostess. Then you’ll walk up the stairs immediately at the entrance to the left of the hostess stand. Our dining room is right at the top of the stairs. Please feel free to visit the bar to your right and settle into the evening with a beverage! Note, on the walls as you're walking up the stairs, the many familiar faces who've also enjoyed an evening at Gibsons 🥂

We kindly request formal attire to celebrate our special day. A suit and tie will fit in perfectly (black tie optional), as would a gown or elegant cocktail dress. Our wedding colors include navy, and we'd love to see some dark navy suits or tuxes!

We are registered at Bloomingdales and Williams Sonoma. You can find our registries under the "Registry" tab on our website. Thanks for considering a gift for us! Please note: some of the items on our registry are labeled as "call to order." If you'd like to purchase one of these items, we've confirmed that they are available. When you call the number (212-705-2023), they will pick up quickly and ask you for the item information to place the order.

After we've welcomed everyone for dinner, we'll pass around the mic and ask our guests to share a few words with us. It could be a memory you have of one or both of us, a reflection on love and what it means to you, or something else you'd like to share with us. We look forward to what you have to share!
