Our Story
Sarah:
Austin and I met in the Summer of 2021 where we went on our first date to Cooper's Hawk. We were both members of the wine club but never used our memberships, so we decided that would be the perfect spot to meet. He came and picked me up and we had the best time together, spending over 3 hours at the restaurant and closing the place down. We also found out this same day that I would be moving into the same apartment complex he lived in the following week, making us neighbors. It was crazy to think how all of these pieces were falling perfectly into place. As the summer went on we continued to go on dates and I quickly knew this was the guy I was going to marry. He fit in perfectly with my family and loved Kansas City sports. He is funny, caring, friendly, and would help anyone and anything that needed him and I can't wait to marry him!
Austin:
For our first date, Sarah and I went to Cooper's Hawk Winery and did a wine tasting. While that only lasted about an hour, it was going so well that we decided to stay on the bar side after and we were there until about 9:45 before realizing that there was hardly anyone else there. We then figured out they are supposed to close at 9, but had been letting us stay late. While Sarah was almost nervous enough to cancel on the first date, it went so well that she decided to move to the same apartment complex that I was living in just a week after our first date. From our first date, Sarah was the easiest person to talk and I couldn't believe how much we had in common. It didn't take long for me to figure out that she was the one and I'm so happy with how our relationship has progressed and getting to know such an amazing person like her who matches my personality perfectly. I'm thankful to be with her everyday and that she gave me a chance and didn't cancel on our first date! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her!
