It Started with a Swipe

Who would’ve thought on January 17th, 2022, Sarah and Craig would swipe right and take their first steps towards their journey to forever love.&nbsp; In typical Sarah fashion, she made the first move by messaging Craig on Bumble and asked how his new year was kicking off!&nbsp; From there, they enjoyed their “long distance” relationship and traveled between Bordentown and Hightstown (it’s 25 minutes haha), and filled their days with love, laughs, and long audio voice notes. Craig quickly learned the joys of dating an outgoing, social woman, and was many times faced with having long conversations with every stranger Sarah came across.&nbsp; Sarah quickly learned the rules of Dungeons &amp; Dragons, TfT, and how to embrace the “gamer lifestyle.”&nbsp; Throughout the two years of their relationship, they have grown with each other and became an unstoppable force.&nbsp; The phrases “perfect pair” and “two peas in a pod” are often thrown around when people talk about Sarah and Craig, and it’s crazy how perfectly those phrases describe them.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Proposal

Despite feeling under the weather, on November 22nd, 2023 (the day before Thanksgiving), Craig popped the question!&nbsp; Since Sarah had planned the last date night, it was Craig’s turn to plan the date and with so many things going on, he declared it would be a “date night at home.”&nbsp; When she first got home, Sarah had no idea where the night was going to take her…but slowly, Craig dropped more and more hints.&nbsp; The thought of proposal only crept into her head, when Craig said one, simple phrase… “I thought it would be fun to recreate our first date!”&nbsp; He recreated their first date perfectly!&nbsp; It consisted of delicious (and very garlicky) Dragon Noodles, a bottle of Sarah’s favorite prosecco, lots of conversation, and dancing in the living room.&nbsp; The only difference was the dancing….on the first date, Craig headed home after lots of dancing; that night, in the middle of slow dancing to Anthology by Thrice, Craig bent down on one knee and pulled out a ring.&nbsp; Of course, Sarah literally began sobbing and jumping with joy!&nbsp; It was the perfect proposal, and they were able to celebrate with their families over a weekend of Thanksgiving Festivities!&nbsp;
