How We Met

After a couple classes together sophomore year of high school, I started to crush on Dave and we exchanged text messages for a while. The following summer I tricked him into going out of his way to drive me to school since he had scored a parking pass and no one likes the bus!

How He Asked 

After his first night in Colorado, he texted me a simple question: "Where do you see us in 5 years?" I responded with "Together of course, most likely engaged." He agreed and said he had "big plans" for their future. On August 24th 2019 (a little over 5 years later), we were heading to Canterbury Hill, a winery in Holts Summit, MO, to meet his parents for dinner. He wanted to dress up, so needless to say Sarah was on to him (after all they did design her ring together a month prior). And then his parents ended up running "late." It was there, at a secluded table over looking the bluff, that's where our official forever began

We are monitoring the situation as best we can as things still continue to change. We hope that the majority of our guests are vaccinated so we can celebrate safely. We will continue to update you all. We plan to get married this year no matter what. A year of postponing was tough and life is precious so we are ready to begin our new chapter.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive before 3:50! The setup of our venue will inhibit late guests from being apart of the ceremony!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

If you make a reservation at The Embassy Suites, there will be a shuttle! Otherwise feel free to Uber or Lyft

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! The lot for the City Market can be used!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, we will be outdoors! There are heaters but we certainly don't want to our guests and ourselves to freeze! We do have an indoor option as well!

Will there be a sign outside of the venue?

Due to venue policy, there will be no sign, but security will let you know you're in the right place! Go around the corner from Taco Betty's and there will be two large doors with planters outdoors.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! Prepare yourselves for a long night of dancing as well!
