All About the Castle
Castell de Llaés
The castle has been reserved from October 1 - October 4, 2024. Check in time is at 5:00pm on October 1, and check out time is 12:00pm on October 4. If you wish to stay there for all or some of the nights, accommodations will be taken care of.
Please note, there are 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. 5 bedrooms have a double bed, and 3 bedrooms have 2 singles each. When you RSVP, please let us know if you will be staying in the castle or not.
If you wish to stay somewhere else, Ripoll is about 30 minutes from the castle by car, and Barcelona is about 1.5 hours from the castle by car. Please see below for other options in both Ripoll and Barcelona.
Rental Cars from Barcelona Airport
The easiest and quickest way to get to the castle is either by town car (~$71) or by rental car. Please let us know in advance if you need help finding transportation to the castle. We will do as much as we can to help get transportation for you to our wedding!
If you wish to rent a car, please see the link provided. In addition to having your US drivers license, it is recommended but not required to have an International Driving Permit (IDP). It costs around $20 and you may apply here: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html.
