Our Wedding

After recently moving to Buffalo, Sarah and her sister Emma went to a friend's house on a cold winter's night in January. While walking back to their apartment off Elmwood, Emma asked Sarah, "Do you want to go to Mr. Goodbar?" Sarah said, "Sure, why not." On that fateful night, Ben was with his friend Jake. Ben saw Sarah and offered to buy her a drink. Sarah said, "No thanks." However, Ben was persistent. He later asked again and Sarah agreed. After talking for a few hours, Ben asked for Sarah's number. The two went on their first date a week later . Ben planned a very thoughtful first date where the two had to judge the wings at Duff's and Anchor Bar. The next date Ben planned was a hike to the Eternal Flame and you could say this is where Sarah truly fell for him. Quite literally, as her shoe choice for a trek in the woods in the winter was a pretty poor one. The two got along swell and became inseparable. Ben proposed on the second anniversary of their first date, January 10th, 2016 while on a hike at Knox Park. Due to an unexpected blizzard, the two had the park to themselves. Sarah said yes and cried and laughed before even seeing the ring. Since then they've experienced being in school, finishing school and then going back to school, several job changes, moving in together, getting a dog, then buying a house, and then getting another dog. The two are true partners and teammates and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with their loved ones and face all the adventures life throws their way as man and wife.

As is the beginning of most love stories...once upon a time, a girl drank some wine.

The trip is free for anyone who needs it, please just tip you driver! Cars may be left at Spring Garden and picked up the next day.
