Both being from Hendersonville, TN, I knew Jack in middle school and high school, but did not start dating him until I was a senior in college and he had just graduated.

However, in order to understand the story, we have to rewind back to the summer going into my sophomore year of college. We had a little summer fling, if you will, mostly consisting of riding jet skis, seeing movies, and sitting in gas station parking lots. In a lot of ways, Jack was everything I wasn’t- handy, sure of what he wanted, knew everything about everything, could make just about anyone laugh, and so confident. Part of me was so obsessed with him and the other just wasn't sure yet.

By the time that summer came to a close, Jack and I both returned to school but left the fling in the summer. For the next 2 years, I would only refer to Jack as my crush and would explain it to anyone who asked that I simply could not shake the feeling of him- he felt like home. After two years of some snap chat exchanges, me begging Jack to fix my dresser, random run ins at UT that I'd cross my fingers for, and one last jet ski ride not as Jack's girl friend, we started dating.

Once I graduated UT in 2021, Jack took me on a trip to Miami, a trip that will always hold such a special place in my heart. I think I knew then that I'd marry Jack, but I'd spend the next almost 3 years becoming sure of it. Jack is my best friend and I am so lucky to feel so loved by him, he is truly Gods greatest gift to me.

Long story short and four years in, everything works out exactly how it’s supposed to, because of that little summer fling that I simply couldn’t shake the feeling of, I now almost have a husband that I simply adore. I have found a love that I hope all of you reading this find as well.

Sarah and I’s love journey started back in the summer of 2018. I would say that I could pinpoint one night in particular that I knew that this could be something special. We had an ongoing joke that I would take her to get ice cream; but instead, I got her cough drops and an orange Gatorade from the Thorton’s in Gallatin. Little did I know, she hates Gatorade because of the yellow 40 or whatever. But that night, I knew that Sarah Silverman was the person I needed in my life. We drove around for hours just talking and laughing about how big of an EDM fan Sarah was at the time. Fast forward 2 years, we finally had the opportunity to re-spark that flame. Personally, I knew that that was going to be it. She was the person for me. I was labeled as“Sarah’s crush” for the first year and was finally upgraded to boyfriend in May 2021. Even though in my mind we were already dating, apparently you have to actually ask that question. We spent a week in Miami shortly after, which I told Sarah I loved her for the first time, and never looked back. The past 4 years have done nothing but solidify my feelings for Sarah. She is nothing short of perfect. We have just scratched the surface in terms of the lifelong relationship we have to look forward to, and I cannot imagine spending another minute without each other.
