Because the ceremony begins promptly at 6:30 pm, we recommend you aim to arrive between 6:00-6:15 pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time.
What is the dress code?
We ask that you please wear formal attire and all black to fit the color scheme.
What does "formal and all black attire" mean?
"Formal & all black attire" means that guests are asked to wear a formal attire (dress, jumpsuit, nice suit or tux) that falls within the color scheme of black. Suits or tuxes with a white shirt underneath also falls under the attire theme.
Can a bring a date?
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you are allowed to bring a date, your envelope will be labeled your name & guest. Please reach out if you have any further questions.
Are children welcome?
Although we dearly love the children that are in our lives, we have decided to make this is an adults-only celebration.
Can I take photos & videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing the ceremony and we will kindly share those photos after.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is free venue parking locTed near the venue. Parking is limited and with the busy holiday, we encourage you to carpool or use a ride share service.
Is there an open bar?
The drinks are on us this NYE, but the hangover the next day is on you! The bar will be fully stocked with beer, wine, liquer and non-alcoholic options.
Is there a block of rooms at a hotel near the venue?
Yes! We have a block of rooms at the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City. More information can be found in the travel section of the website. Rooms are limited so please reach out if you are having issues! Will food be served or should I eat before?
Although we are not having a sit down dinner, you won’t end the night hungry! I’m true party fashion, a variety of heavy appetizers, late night drunk food and dessert with be available throughout the night. If you’re worried about waiting to eat at the reception, we suggest checking out one of the many delicious restaurants around downtown Kansas City prior to the ceremony.
