In the summer of 2017, against the scenic backdrop of Chang Mai Thailand, Sarah and Seán crossed paths in a hostel common room. Their encounter was brief, lasting only one day, yet little did they know that this chance meeting would be foundation for a remarkable love story.

Even after their brief meeting, they returned to their own lives but continued to keep an eye on each through social media. A year later, Sarah's travels took her to Dublin for a Rugby Match, Scotland Vs Ireland to be precise. After a disappointing defeat, Sarah and her friends went in search of some traditional Irish "craic". This led her to meeting Sean and his friends in O'Donoghue's pub, where they drank the night away.

At this reunion, a special connection formed between Sarah and Sean. Even though Sarah had to return to Scotland to finish her degree, they continued speaking every day. A few months later Seán, deeply smitten and courageous, closed the gap by flying to Aberdeen to spend a weekend with Sarah.

Two years later, their journey took a new turn as they embraced family life. A playful French Bulldog named Otis and the purchase of a cosy home in the village of Ardclough in 2021 marked the milestones of their shared adventures, with no regrets in sight.

In the picturesque town of Monopoli, Italy, during a getaway in 2023, Seán dropped to one knee, unveiling a stunning engagement ring that left no doubt in Sarah's heart. She said "yes" without hesitation,and the rest of their holiday was a whirlwind of celebrations.

And now, in the present day, as they organise their wedding day, Sarah and Seán are brimming with happiness, eager to share this joyous occasion with their beloved friends and family.
