Our Wedding

6 summers ago, we met up with our mutual friends for a typical karaoke night. The group from Borders was celebrating the return of former employee, and current Navy sailor, Andrew. On that night when they first&nbsp;met, Andrew&nbsp;would become, "that cute Navy boy," and Sarah would be, "that girl with the pretty green eyes."

Fast forward to the following New Year's, he stationed in California, she about to begin a new semester at JMU. What started as a friendly competition of Words With Friends (online Scrabble) turned into flirty competitions, to phone calls, to Skype chats, to a plane ticket. 



After one deployment, 2 years of long distance, countless plane rides, and 5 cross-country roadtrips, we have settled in the county where we both grew up. 2 weeks after moving into our first home bought together, surrounded by friends and family at our house warming party, Andrew turned our 5&nbsp;year relationship into an engagement. 



We are so excited to finally continue our journey towards marriage and a lifelong committment to each other. Though we have always known this was forever, we are happy to make it official.
