Our story began with a simple "like" on a profile that led to a match! We met on Hinge in January 2022, when Evan had just moved to San Antonio to start his career in physical therapy and Sarah was beginning her work as a mental health therapist. Our first date was somewhat unconventional (as Sarah had a little bit of anxiety about meeting someone online)– a FaceTime call that somehow turned into four hours of conversation that flew by. The easy connection and natural chemistry told us both there might be something special here.

After a few months of getting to know each other, making things official felt like the natural next step. We've since built a life filled with our favorite shared rituals, like weekend brunches at Ida Claire, morning workouts in our home gym, and wine tasting adventures through the vineyards of Fredericksburg. Whether we're exploring new places or spending time with our families, we've discovered that the simple moments together often become our favorite memories.
