Our Story

I first encountered Hunter on July 23, 2024, during a karaoke night to which a coworker had invited me. At the last moment, I decided to attend, and upon arrival, I met my coworker and immediately noticed Hunter. I texted my coworker about him and managed to obtain Hunter's phone number, yet I hesitated to reach out first. While playing pool, Hunter joined me, and I found him quite charming. During our game, he leaned in and asked, “How are you going to have my number, but not text me?” Caught off guard, I was speechless. He then proposed a bet: if he won, I would have to text him first, but if I won, he would text me. Although I lost the pool game, I ultimately triumphed in life by discovering the man who would become my future husband. Following that night, our relationship blossomed, and we began spending everyday together. Hunter met my family, who instantly took a liking to him. Having grown up in church, I cherished my faith and had discovered my calling early on. After a brief period of distance from my faith, I reconnected with it upon moving to Alabama, vowing never to let another man lead me away from God. When I met Hunter, I made it clear that attending church with me was essential for our relationship to thrive. He responded positively, agreeing to join me without hesitation. On August 26th, he sweetly asked me to be his girlfriend. He began attending church with me and soon developed a deep appreciation for it. On January 26th, 2025, Hunter received the Holy Ghost, and just a week later, he was baptized on February 2nd. There is no greater foundation for a marriage than having the Lord at its center.
