Our Wedding

Nathan and Sarah first met through Nathan's lifelong friend, Corey Phelps, in 2016 and began dating that November. Sarah had just completed her Master's Degree in occupational therapy and was about to move to the south shore to start her first job. Despite the distance, they each decided the other was something special and eventually moved in together in 2018. The true indication, though, that they were getting into this for the long haul was the adoption of the best boy ever, Bailey (aka Bailey-boo/bucko-boy), a 4 year old yellow lab mix; and later, Mika (aka wiggles/Mika-moo), a 10 month old mix of crazy. On May 29, 2020, Nathan planned a birthday excursion to Tully Lake in Royalston with the dogs for a perfect afternoon of swimming and kayaking. Cluelessly, Sarah wondered why Nathan was insisting on bringing his camera despite the high danger of the dogs tipping the kayaks. On one of the many islands on Tully Lake, Nathan set up said camera under the guise of taking a group picture and instead proposed! (The scene did not go exactly as he planned as the dogs were particularly unruly and Sarah was also kneeling down to contain them.) Later that summer, they learned of a house next to Nathan's Uncle Ron, in Northborough (Nathan's hometown). After touring the home, they quickly realized this was their dream property and were able to purchase the home in September 2020. After a delay in getting married due to COVID, they are excited to finally welcome their friends and family to celebrate at their new-ish home in September 2022!

What should I wear?Dressy-casual. Recommend flat footwear as there are a lot of lumps and bumps in the yard. What should I bring?Recommend a flashlight for getting back to your car after dark. Where should I park?There will be parking available on neighboring properties. But please consider carpooling as space may be limited!
