If you ask Taylor, we met at a Future Thieves show in Nashville when they opened for The Weeks. If you ask Sarah, we matched on Bumble when Sarah came across Taylor's profile and it said "Drummer with Future Thieves". Either way, a love for music and an internet algorithm brought us together. Regardless of if we actually met at the show, Sarah did get to see Taylor play with Future Thieves on August 9th, 2019. We matched on Bumble in December 2019, but our casual texting relationship did not progress quickly because dreaded March 2020 shut down the world. We finally met up in person on July 3, 2020 and started regularly hanging out through the summer. Our dates weren't conventional - think neighborhood walks, Cracker Barrell take out, and porch hangs. After a few months of getting to know each other, we realized one day around the 2020 holidays that we had seen each other almost every day for a month and that this casual relationship wasn't actually so casual. The next four years were filled with love, laughter, and a bit of organized chaos. Both of our careers took off, we navigated life's highs and lows, celebrated milestones, and became an unbeatable team. We've cheered on friends, cared for family, pet sat a ton of dogs, and Sarah forced Taylor to watch the Harry Potter series at least 10 times (it's only fair as he forced Star Wars upon her). Through it all, we kept choosing each other, and Taylor proposed at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens on December 23, 2024 surrounded by an oddly large group of excited strangers, some of their best friends, and their future flower girl. We're grateful for the love and support that's brought us to this moment, and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story. We truly wouldn't be us without you.

Another Sarah and Taylor favorite for a nice dinner out. Swing by Van Gogh's or The Authentique for a glass of wine before or after. All East Nashville favorites.

Taylor's favorite spot for tacos. If he's in town, there's a 50% chance you'll find him there during the week for lunch downing chicken and fried avocado tacos.

Mas Tacos Por Favor

If it's warm enough, this is the perfect place to escape the city while still being in Nashville. There are easy to difficult hiking trails, and it's truly beautiful. Fun fact: This is the highest point in Davidson County.

Our favorite dive and karaoke bar! We've celebrated countless milestones here. Our go-to order: Cheese curds, a dozen of Nate's dry rub wings, a keg salad, and a Love Bird to drink!

Take a tour or catch a show in this legendary venue. Combined, we've seen over 100 shows in this venue, and Taylor even played here!

Ryman Auditorium

Catch a show, grab a drink. A non-Broadway honky tonk where you never know who you'll run into.
