Address Info
299 Upper Yango Creek Road, Laguna, 2325. Please use Google maps as Waze and other navigations do not take you the right way. We will also have some signs up so keep an eye out for them. Additionally, whilst the venue is 2WD access, please be mindful of potholes on the way up.
Arrival time at the venue
Please ensure your arrival time at our property is between 10am and 2pm and make sure you leave ample time to set up if you are camping. We will have people to direct you to specific spots to camp, glamp or park.
Wishing Well
Whilst we honestly don’t expect anything, your presence is present enough, there will be a wishing well for anyone who would like to gift us something.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is cocktail attire, but please keep in mind that the event is set in a bush setting. We recommend wearing flats or thick heels for the ladies to stay comfortable.
Are children and dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, dogs aren’t permitted, and while children are generally not invited, we can make exceptions for international guests and newborn babies upon request.
What facilities will be available?
There will be portaloo's and showers available. We will also set up an area with mirrors and power for those who need it for makeup/hair.
What's the plan if its looking rainy?
We’ve got plenty of undercover areas, so the wedding will go ahead as planned. Just be sure to bring a raincoat or poncho, and perhaps some gum boots if the weather’s looking rainy.
Is there reception at the property?
Unfortunately, there is no reception on-site. However, you can typically get signal at the Wollombi Pub, which is a 25-minute drive away. In case of emergencies, we have a landline telephone and Wi-Fi available, though these are not for general use.
Is there a supermarket or bottle-o nearby?
Unfortunately the closest PROPER supermarket and bottle-o are in Cessnock (1 hr drive). However, just 15 mins from the property you can get some takeaway alcohol and basics from the GNTP at Laguna. THere are also more mini supermarkets/shops to get a meal in Wollombi as well as the excellent Wollombi Tavern (20 min drive).
Recovery Day
We will provide breakfast and there will be a coffee van in the morning on Saturday. However, lunch, dinner and any drinks on the Saturday are BYO. We recommend bringing an esky and ice as there is very limited fridge space. We will have a communal cooking area with a few extra BBQ’s coming up but you will need to bring your own basics - plates, cutlery etc.
Some things to bring for those glamping/camping:
Head torch
Power bank to charge phone (Can charge it up at house)
Esky, ice and alcohol for recovery
Water (we do have drinking water at the house also)
Lunch and dinner for recovery (breakfast is provided)
Raincoat and gum boots if wet
