Our Wedding

We met on the dating app Hinge in July of 2022, and Jacob was Sarah's first and only date! Our first date was at Rosalia Pizza in Minneapolis (which is still a favorite of ours) followed by ice cream at Sebastian Joes. Since then we have pretty much been inseparable. Jacob picked me up in his Jeep (with no roof mind you) and I was so mad because I had spent a ton of time getting ready. Thankfully the date went well and all was forgiven. We integrated into each other's lives seamlessly and knew pretty early on that this relationship was it for us. We've made so many memories together over the past few years. Whether it was going to Packer vs Viking games at Lambeau, spending time up north at Breezy Point, going to NYC, playing pickleball, and so much more!About 2 years in, we started talking about getting engaged and what the future was going to look like together moving forward. In the fall of 2024, we planned a trip to Napa Valley. I went into it unsuspecting because there was no way he could coordinate a proposal so last minute, right? WRONG. Although the proposal did include a fairly steep hike uphill (I'm talking steep), Jacob surprised me at a scenic overlook at sunset and asked me to marry him. While I personally have no recollection of this (I fear I blacked out), I was able to somehow say "Yes"!Since then, our lives have been busy with work, Sarah finishing grad school, moving, college graduation (x2), Jacob becoming a CPA, and wedding planning. We cannot wait to celebrate with you at our wedding - thank you for all your love and support over the years!

From Hinge to Now

When I first met Sarah, I had a furry wingman (my roommate's dog) who deserves a lot of credit in the success of the initial dating days. One of our most memorable first dates was going to the Twins game together and watching the fireworks together after. It was the summertime, since we met in July, and I always had the top off my Jeep. It was funny because every time we went out it seemed to be perfectly sunny, but as soon as we were together it would start raining. Regardless, we always had a great time together, and I knew that nothing could stop us from having fun together. When it was time to get engaged, I tried my best to make it special and keep it pretty secretive. We went up to Westwood Hill in Napa Valley for a "beautiful sunset" before dinner. Little did she know, I was really taking her up there in her nice dress to ask her to marry me. Ever since that special trip and moment, we have been planning our lives together. We are so excited to get married and celebrate the time with all our friends and family!

The entrance to Urban Daisy is located at the end of the FISK Building on 16th Street, just off East Hennepin Avenue. Please note that there is no street sign for 16th Street. Parking is available on 16th Avenue in the FISK Building–designated parking lot directly across from Urban Daisy, as well as alongside Urban Daisy and behind the FISK Building. Handicap-accessible parking and an ADA ramp are located behind the FISK Building. After entering the building, take the stairs up to Urban Daisy Events, where you will find the double-door entrance.
