The couple met in summer of 2017 and began officially dating in April of 2018. They started off their relationship with a camping trip to Pictured Rocks, where Sarah saw the shore of Lake Superior for the first time. Ever since then, Sarah and Daniel have made the Upper Peninsula their go-to spot to enjoy adventuring and extra time together. On their 5th trip spent there, Daniel proposed to Sarah in Copper Harbor October 7th, 2022. They celebrated this milestone by officially making the UP their permanent residence. Sarah and Daniel moved to Negaunee in July of 2023 and are enjoying their next new journey together.
