Sarah and Devin started off as friends for a couple years while attending Timbercrest Junior High and Woodinville High School together. Being in the same circle of friends, Sarah thought it would be fun to attend a Sadie Hawkins dance with Devin since all of their friends were going. That friendship turned into a relationship and they have been together ever since. They attended college about 4 hours apart in California, and then returned home after graduation. Devin and Sarah now live together in Seattle, WA.

After high school, Devin attended California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA and studied Computer Engineering. He was a part of Cal Poly Racing, a chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), who design, build, and test 2 racing vehicles. At the end of the year, the team competes at SAE's Collegiate Design Series. After graduation, Devin accepted a position with Microsoft in Redmond, WA and has been working there for 3 years. Devin is working on turning a 2003 BMW 330Ci into a racecar to better perform during high performance driving events (HPDE). HPDE involves improving your skills of car control and safety while going around a racetrack along with other cars. Devin's other hobbies include backpacking, skiing, and watching Formula 1 racing.

After high school, Sarah attended Chapman University in Orange, CA and studied Health Science with a pre-Physical Therapy emphasis. She was a member of Tri Delta sorority, and played varsity softball for all 4 years. After graduation, Sarah attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA to earn a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and graduated in May 2021. She is now working as an acute care PT at Valley Medical Center in Renton. With Devin's amazing teaching skills, Sarah has picked up the hobbies of skiing and HPDE. Her other interests include baking, reading, hanging out with her sisters, and soaking up the sun whenever possible.
