Since we met during the height of Covid, our first "date" was at Sarah's apartment. Beanie helped make sure Tyler wasn't a creep by chopping on his arm the entire time. Tyler treated Beanie with patience and gentleness, and Tyler earned another gold star.

From then on, we continued to see each other while staying Covid safe. We went on hikes, painted, made bead bracelets, watched tv, and made a home in Phoenix together.

In 2021, Sarah's visa was coming to an end and after 8 months of applying to jobs while working from home, she got a job in Fayetteville, Arkansas! Tyler decided to leave the heat, but with someone hotter!!! Taking a trip on old Route 66 heading east towards a better life together. Our first road trip!

In the Summer of 2022, Sarah's parents flew in to Arkansas to visit her. This was it. He was going to ask for their blessing. This was the first time Tyler was meeting Sarah's parents in person which made it all the more nerve wracking.

On the day Tyler planned to ask for their blessing, he spent the entire day driving Sarah's parents around Northwest Arkansas getting to know them. At the end of the day, they picked Sarah up from work and went out for dinner. When we stepped out of the restaurant, Sarah's dad exclaimed ,"sunset!" So we drove to a hill top for him to get pictures.

This was it. Full bellies, parents, sunset. After pacing around and making nervous small talk, Tyler finally asked for their blessing. He was fearful of rejection but Sarah's parents gave hime a big smile and said, "welcome to the family!" Tyler's emotions finally got to him and he cried on the drive back to their hotel. He looked like an emotional Uber driver.

Tyler had picked up the ring a few days before and hid it in the apartment. When the time came, he planned a night out so they both dressed up. As they about to head out the door, Tyler set up his phone to record the proposal. Alas, he should have looked at the clock because it Beanie's dinner time. As he was about to kneel, Sarah walked by the camera with microwaved dog food, bumped the table, and dropped his phone. She knew it was happening.

After shaking off some nervous energy, Tyler was able to get on one knee and fulfill a life goal of his and marry the person that he loves.

After moving once more to Minnesota, we have finally found our grounding and are ready for you! This time it'll be our second wedding, first proper ceremony, and the gathering of all our loved ones. We are so excited to have you all meet each other in celebration!
