It all started with a softball game. My best guy friend, Scott, invited me to come watch, convinced that there was someone on the team I just had to meet. That someone was Sean. But let’s just say, first impressions weren’t exactly fireworks—Sean was a little short with me, not the warmest welcome! In his defense he thought I was someone’s girlfriend or wife so he avoided me out of respect to his teammate’s. Little did he know I was single and ready to mingle…with him 😉

Thankfully, we got the chance to really talk over dinner later that night, and that’s when everything changed. We connected instantly, and when we went on our first official date at The Kettle, followed by a long walk down the Manhattan Beach Pier, we knew something special was happening. That night felt almost magical, topped off by witnessing the grunion run—something neither of us will ever forget.

From that moment on, we were inseparable. Our relationship moved quickly, but it all felt so natural, like we were always meant to find each other. Over the years, our love has grown into this beautiful, full life together. We have four amazing children, a wonderful home, a beloved dog, and so many incredible memories.

Now, as we celebrate 10 years together this June, we’re beyond excited to take this next step and make it official. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
