Our story starts out at Stoneworks of course.

One evening we met there by chance, both minding our own bees-wax, when Sarah strikes up a conversation with Don's BFF, which turns out to be one of Sarah's future BFFs. A few years go by with Don and Sarah conversating and hanging out by the pool... only to discover, they had a few things in common.

Sarah was looking for a new house and one became available on Don's street. (how convenient!) Well, one day, the BFF falls in love with his now wife. Which meant the BFF would not be hanging out much anymore. Sarah asked Don if he would like to hang out and grab a bite to eat. Don says, "yeah sure, I'm not busy". One dinner and one drink later Don and Sarah were laughing and chatting it up about everything from StarTrek, old Country tunes, the good old days when gas was way cheaper, and well just about anything else that is nerdy but cool.....

Sarah was just "fine" seeing each other on the weekends until one day she looked over at him (at the Chili's bar) and said, "Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" .... Don of course said, HELL YES! LOL J/K, Don said "I'd love to... or something to that effect... there were drinks involved.... this was 10.17.2022.

Things progressed and Sarah invited Don to meet some family around Christmas 2022, he pasted the Tully/Green family functions and there ya go, Sarah was hooked. ....(That and Don said, "You wanna get outta town and go drink Wine with me in Fredericksburg?", HELL YES, Sarah said...) Months go by and Don is falling more and more in love with Sarah, and Sarah is noticing... Don is playing it cool, and Sarah noticed this and really appreciated his "style". Soon, Sarah fell in love with Don, just as much as Don was in love with Sarah.

Then, while watching one of their shows, Sarah asked Don...."Can you pause it, I wanna say something" whoa she means business...

Sarah said "Don, I kinda wanna take our relationship to the next level". Don said, "you know there's only one way to go right, and that means a ring is involved?" Sarah said "yes".

And Don got to planning....

Well, a few months later Don says to Sarah. "BFF wants to go golfing this weekend do you mind if I go?" This was the weekend of the eclipse.

Sarah said, "of course not, go have fun!"

Little did Sarah know this was a big fat lie!

Fast forward, BFF's wifey is going and wants Sarah to go too. (we should mention that she is now Sarah's BFF)

The plan to propose to on its way...

We all get there, warm up at the driving range, and then the team in front of us are going sooooo slow they have delayed Don's plan.

Don is getting really nervous. but pivots nicely to the putting green and fire ring area. And Sarah's BFF is singing "The Ring of Fire" - Sarah still has no clue at this time.....

Sarah has no clue at all of course, and goes inside for a minute to powder her nose. Sarah comes back out to watch the RING OF FIRE Eclipse, and Don moseys his way on over to the fire ring, and just as the RING OF FIRE Eclipse is dead center over us both.... Don (still holding his putters, LOL) he gets down on one knee and asks, "Will you marry me and be my wife forever?" OF COURSE, Yes says Sarah. and they kiss... Don then drops his putter, LOL.

And the best is still to come!
