Reid and I met through mutual friends, Gage and Louisa. For a few months, we kept running into each other Sunday nights at our college ministry, Oasis. When Reid asked me out on our first date, the only information he gave me was to "wear close toed shoes." We ended up going to dinner followed by axe throwing! One week later, he asked me to be his girlfriend.

One of our favorite things to do together is to swing dance! Before our first official date, I invited Reid to join my roommate, and I to swing dancing club. Reid and I attended almost every week that semester.

We spent the summer of '22 in Okoboji. Reid worked as a Water Patrol Officer and I waitressed at Snappers and O'Farrell Sisters.

Fall of '22 was filled with all the excitement of hunting season... and school of course!

HE PROPOSED!!! After a weekend of bitter cold hunting, Reid popped the question. He surprised me while we were dancing at Durkee Lake.
