💛 Our Story

It all began with a swipe and a little leap of faith. After matching on a dating app, our first date took us to the charming town of Ocean Springs, Mississippi — which, fittingly, will also be the destination of our honeymoon weekend. What was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into seven hours of smiles, laughter, and maybe even the first sparks of love.

As many of our friends and family already know, that day also brought a story we’ll never forget. Somehow, between laughter and conversation, we discovered that both of our mothers had tried to bring us lemons from the St. Joseph’s Altar — a beloved Catholic tradition. Legend has it that if you take (or “borrow”) a lemon from St. Joseph’s Altar, you’ll soon find yourself blessed with love or marriage. Only one of our mothers was successful in securing that lemon… and, well, it seems St. Joseph took it from there. 🍋

Just six short months later, we found ourselves engaged and even more certain that divine timing — and maybe a little bit of lemon magic — had brought us together. We are so grateful for the prayers and intercession of St. Joseph, who lovingly guided us to one another and now, to the altar once more.
