Guests should know there is no public transportation within Wolfeboro. In addition there is little to no Uber and no Lyft service. There is plenty of parking at the church as well as reception venue. We suggest carpooling and the selection of a designated driver. We encourage all guests to drink responsibly. Although Wolfeboro is a quaint town, you never know what kinds of wildlife you may encounter on the roads especially in the evening hours, including bears, deer and bobcats.

In September, near Wolfeboro, you can&nbsp;enjoy the changing fall foliage at Cate Park, explore local history at the Wright Museum of World War II, discover antique and vintage boats at the New Hampshire Boat Museum, stroll through downtown Wolfeboro to browse shops and enjoy waterfront views, and relax by the lake at Wentworth State Park.&nbsp; Wolfeboro is the “Oldest Summer Resort in America”.&nbsp;The town is&nbsp;scituated&nbsp;on Lake Winnipesaukee with views of mountain ranges, surrounded by opportunities for hiking, boating and other outdoor activities. A number of famous people have summered in and around Wolfeboro over the years, including Prince Ranier and Princess Grace Kelly, Paul Newman, Kurt Vonnegut Jr.,&nbsp;Jimmy&nbsp;Fallon, Drew Barrymore, George Clooney and Mitt Romney. In downtown Wolfeboro, you can visit such shops as Black’s or&nbsp;Butternuts.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can visit the Yum-Yum Shop for donuts and pastry and then walk the waterfront docks and enjoy the beautiful views.&nbsp;No visit is complete without visiting Van Otis Chocolates!

We love your children, however due to capacity issues the wedding reception will be a child free event! Children are more than welcome to join us at the welcome party on Friday evening and the farewell breakfast on Sunday. As many of you are traveling from out of state, the Mother of the Groom has graciously offered her home for the evening, where child care arrangements can be made at the expense of the guest! Her home is conveniently located a mile from the venue for easy pick up and drop off. Please reach out in advance to let us know if you need arrangements we have serval sitters available for your needs!
