Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport
SAV is under an hour drive from Hilton Head Island. You can Uber or pre-book a shuttle service with a larger group via Palmetto Car Service or any of the car services listed on this page.
Buck Island Resort
Our wedding adventure begins with a private boat ride to Buck Island where our ceremony, reception, and afterparty will take place. Shuttle service to the Shelter Cove Marina will be provided from Home2 Suites and SpringHill Suites, the two hotels below where we have room blocks. If you do not stay at these hotels, we recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and boarding the boat (see below).
Capt. Hook Charter
To make sure everyone arrives together, the boat will depart promptly at 2:00 PM from Shelter Cove Marina (13 Harbourside Ln, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928). When you arrive and park, head to the marina (past the mermaid fountain) and follow the signs until you arrive at Dock C, where you will board the Capt. Hook. Additional transportation to the island will not be available after departure.

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
Another local hotel option we recommend is the Omni Resort, which is oceanfront. Note: Shuttle transportation service will not be provided from this hotel, so we recommend booking car services in advance via Uber, Lyft, or the companies we've provided below.
Hilton Head Island Rentals
If you'll be traveling with a group and would prefer to rent a house, we recommend checking out VRBO, Airbnb, Island Getaway, Island Time HHI, Palmetto Dunes, and Host & Home for luxury vacation rentals in the area.
The best area to stay is Shelter Cove, as boats will be leaving from Shelter Cove Marina. Shuttle service will be provided to the boat from Home2 Suites and SpringHill Suites only.
CAR SERVICES
Uber and Lyft are available on the island, but availability may be sparse this time of year. For this reason, we recommend either scheduling your rides in advance to ensure availability or calling the below car service companies on the island to secure your rides at least one week in advance if you will not be taking the shuttles provided from Home2 Suites and SpringHill Suites.
