"All Because Two People Swiped Right". Everyone knows Journey's hit song "Don't Stop Believing", well, little do people know, that song is really about Kyle and Sarah. Kyle, being from a small town in the "Thumb" of Michigan, and Sarah, being born and raised in the downriver (South) Detroit area. Kyle had happened to be working and living in Wyandotte, which was the city neighboring Sarah's. A simple right swipe from each of them on a popular dating app and a "hi, how are you?" message was all it took. As unconventional as it was, following their second date, Sarah knew she was going to be with Kyle for the rest of their lives. Embarrassingly, she even "tweeted" about it. From then, they spent many days together, learning more about each other and creating more memories. Slowly falling in love with one another. Due to COVID, Kyle had to move back up to his hometown for work while Sarah remained downriver. That didn't stop either of them from being together. From Owendale to Indiana, no amount of distance could keep them apart. The two made it work for a year before getting their first apartment together in Saginaw, and shortly after buying their first home together in Vassar. Kyle then proposed to Sarah on March 25, 2023, and of course, she said yes, yes, YES!!! The two cannot wait to celebrate with their family and friends in October!
