YOU HAVE QUESTIONS AND WE HAVE ANSWERS!
What date should I RSVP by?
To help us in the planning process, we ask that you kindly RSVP by Monday, March 17th via the online link through this website. Your timely response will help us ensure a seamless and joyous celebration for everyone.
Is there a deadline to make a hotel reservation in the room block?
In order to get the discounted hotel rate for the room block at the Wingate By Wyndham in Tinley Park, please secure your booking by Monday, March 17th. You can book online through the "Travel" page of this website or you can call the hotel directly. Be sure to mention the "McNamara & Zwickl Wedding" when booking over the phone.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, you can bring someone. Be sure to RSVP with your guest's information when filling out the online RSVP form. See you and your plus-one on Saturday, April 26th!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to the size of the wedding, we only have reserved seats for those listed on the invitation/RSVP. If you are not sure if your child or children are invited, please reach out to Sarah. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Is there a dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us in anything you would define as stylish, yet comfortable! Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors so dress accordingly.
What time is the ceremony?
The ceremony starts promptly at 2pm at St. John Fisher Church. The ceremony will last about an hour long. We advise arriving 10-15 minutes early to avoid arriving late.
What time is the reception?
The reception starts at 6pm in the Emerald Room at Chicago Gaelic Park in Oak Forest. There will be a cocktail hour upon arrival with dinner starting at 7pm.
Will there be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, there will be a 3 hour time gap between the end of the ceremony and start of the reception. Feel free to use this time to grab a coffee at a local café, a late lunch at a local restaurant, or freshen up at home or the hotel. You can find things to do and restaurant recommendations on the "Things to Do" tab on this site.
Will there be transportation the day of the wedding?
While we do not have transportation scheduled for the day of the wedding, there is plenty of free parking at St. John Fisher Church and Chicago Gaelic Park. Cars may be left in Chicago Gaelic Park's parking lot overnight at no charge. We also recommend using Uber or Lyft for transportation as they available in the area as well. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions about transportation for the day of the wedding.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down family style dinner. Be sure to enter any dietary restrictions and/or allergies when filling out your RSVP.
Is there an open bar?
Yes! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!
