Our Wedding

Our story is a long and somewhat complicated one, but even the difficult chapters had to be written to bring us to where we are today.We first met in college. We were both in the same freshman class at UNL, and we were both majoring in Agronomy and living in the same dorm. We would see each other in class and say hello in passing, but that was the extent of our communication at the time.Sophomore year we drifted apart. We were living different lives and we did not see each other as frequently. However, we had both joined the Agronomy club and the crops judging team, so we still saw a little of each other.Junior year we started seeing more of each other. Our classes started to overlap again and we both were running to be officers for the Agronomy club. As it ended up, I was the president and Korbin was the vice president. I also began taking my role on the crops judging team more seriously and Korbin was helping me out there too. This meant that we saw a lot of each other. I began to notice how smart, patient, and attentive he was. We began hanging out to work on school projects and other activities.Senior year was when I finally did something about my feelings for Korbin. I found myself wanting to hang out with him and talk to him and be with him all the time. We had our Agronomy club welcome back barbeque. Korbin and I were cleaning up and we were in one of the greenhouses to get a hose to put the coals out from the grill. I noticed there was a leak in the hose that was spraying out a small stream of water. I tried my hardest to spray Korbin as best as I could and I left that day with the biggest smile on my face. The only thing I remember is thinking to myself, oh no, I have feelings for this guy. After some persistence we decided to date and the rest is history!
