Sasha sits directly across from Noah at a social function because she's so intrigued by him.

They continued bonding over a shared love of the UW-Madison Psychology Department.

By 2016, both of them had separately moved to Milwaukee. But firmly in the "friend zone".

And boy was it a lengthy zone, spanning years...

...and more years (like a lot of them).

Eventually they started traveling together. Because Noah is way better to sit next to than most strangers on a plane.

They're not exactly sure when they "officially" started dating but this was their negotiated anniversary for awhile.

Noah knew he had it in the bag when he made the cut for one of Sasha's family Christmas photos.

And then it was just a matter of continuing to take Sasha on cute dates. Occasionally throwing on a tie helped.

Plus always remembering to take nice selfies while they were traveling!

Like at a tasteful wedding in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Or a New York Yankees home game.

Even the Milwaukee version of Paris (Bastille Days).

Definitely at the Wisconsin State Fair with Sasha's Dad.

And in London.

Noah's photography really peaked in the Scottish Highlands.

Which got him ready for a Badgers football game with their future Best Man and Maid of Honor.

Eventually Noah hid an engagement ring in with Sasha's Christmas ornaments and sweated it out until the day she felt like decorating. After somehow hanging virtually every ornament without finding the ring, she eventually noticed something a bit more diamond-y. Being the smooth operator that he is, Noah snatched the ring from her and dropped onto a knee in front of their favorite trashcan: "so bud, you wanna do this or what?" Luckily she looked past his off-the-cuff phrasing and said yes!

It really made for a merry Christmas that year.

And their families were excited too! From Arizona.

To Plymouth, Wisconsin.

More recently, Sasha and Noah have stayed busy by doing things like buying a house together in Fox Point, Wisconsin.

And traveling to Tokyo, Japan.

With stops in Kyoto.

And Hiroshima.

But mostly they are looking forward to sharing their wedding day with their loved ones.
