It all started in September 2016 at the University of Delaware when Sasha Byck introduced herself to Christopher Eckhoff in class. On October 8th, Sasha and Christopher both attended the same "nage" (night frat party) and Christopher tried to encourage Sasha to swing from a tire swing and their first Snapchat was taken. Fast forward to Election Day when Christopher invited Sasha to his house party and later on to November 11th when Sasha asked Christopher to accompany her to AEPHI's Date Party. This would be the first of a lifetime's worth of date nights together.

A few weeks later, as Christopher went home to Long Island and Sasha back to Westchester for Thanksgiving break, Christopher asked Sasha to meet halfway in NYC for a date night. They grabbed a sushi dinner, went to a UCB comedy show and grabbed hot chocolate to extend the night. Before departing, they took a quick photo in front of a mural and Christopher walked Sasha to Grand Central to take her train home. Sitting in the lower level together at 12AM waiting for Sasha's train to arrive, Christopher formally asked her to be his girlfriend.

The greatest moment yet- right before their 7 year anniversary on a beach in Greenport, Christopher got down on one knee and very much to Sasha's surprise, proposed. Sasha, in between tears of joy and excitement, said yes and now the couple looks forward to spending their time celebrating their love with friends and family!

The first of many trips to Long Beach, NY- yes, they did write Mr. & Mrs. Eckhoff in the sand in 2017!
