When I first laid eyes on Sasha I was hooked. She was everything I imagined my future wife to be.

After a few messages back and forth we were on our first date and it felt like we had known each other all our lives. Time flew by and before we knew it, it was midnight and time to take her home. Kind of a Cinderella deal ;)

They say you can tell everything from a first kiss. And we both knew from that first kiss we were made for each other. One month later I ask her to be my girlfriend.

Life together is beautiful and no matter what we always have each other’s backs. We are there for each other when we are down and we are there for each other when we are up. We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders.

And like our favourite song, we can’t help falling in love with each other. We just can’t.

She is kind, caring, funny and the most beautiful girl I have ever seen with the most beautiful heart. I am obviously the male version of that too ;). We match perfectly.

After a couple of years together and many holidays and lots of love and laughter I knew it was time to propose. We had the previous year gone to Lake Como and I picked the hotel and as I always do, I pick the wronged one. We were driving through the windy roads of Lake Como at night and we come across the most stunning hotel lit up like the 4th of July and were both like ‘WOW’ and as you can guess we kept on driving following the sat nav as this was not the hotel I booked, ours was 200 meters further down the road lol.

The hotel was we passed was ‘The Grand Hotel Tremezzo’ and we decided to have dinner there that night. We fell in love with the place and how magical it was. I can’t really explain how beautiful this place is, you just have to go and see and feel it for yourself.

Roll on two years later and I knew this was the place I had to propose to Sasha. I knew it was time to ask her to be mine forever. The night was upon us and I had a private room for us, I obviously lied about where we were having dinner that night and said it was the restaurant of the hotel were we had been the year before.

We come down the lift and I turn to Sasha and say I know a shortcut and took her by the hand and lead her a different way. To the private room where I am going to propose.

We enter the candle filled stunning room which looked like something from the movie Beauty and the Beast, and I got down on one knee and proposed. She said YES.

And now we are here. Taormina is where we will take our vows and marry and become husband and wife and live happily ever after.
