Villa Delenia is nestled in a remote and beautiful part of Greece, offering a truly unique setting for our celebration. Below, you'll find all the information you need to plan your journey.
The easiest and most scenic way to reach Villa Delenia is via the ferry from Agia Marina (mainland port) to Nea Styra (Evia island):
Ferry ride: 45 minutes.
Costs: €5 per passenger, €16 per car (prices may vary slightly).
Ferry schedule: Operates between 8 AM and 9 PM in summer (hours vary by season and day).
You cannot book ferry tickets in advance.
Arrive at Athens Airport between 5 AM and 7 PM to comfortably catch the last ferry.
Plan return flights between 10 AM and 11 PM to ensure time for ferry and transfers.
Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours.
Use GPS: Set "Harbor Agia Marina" (near Kato Souli) as the destination.
Landmarks: Follow signs for Marathon Avenue (towards Rafina). Turn right at Marathon Avenue and continue through Kato Souli village. Follow signs for Agia Marina and Ferry Boat.
For guests arriving after ferry hours or preferring a land route, Villa Delenia can be accessed via the Chalkida Bridge:
Duration: 2.5–3 hours drive from Athens Airport.
Note: This is a longer, less scenic route but works well for late-night arrivals.
1. From Athens Airport to Agia Marina (Ferry Port):
€50 for a standard taxi (4 passengers).
€70 for a minivan (8 passengers).
€150 for a bus (20 passengers).
2. From Nea Styra Port to Villa Delenia:
Local Taxis: Approx. €25 for direct transfer to the villa. Some taxis drop off at Elaiochori village (€15), where the caretaker can assist with the rest of the journey.
Pick-up Trucks: For larger groups, local drivers can provide transport (fits 3–6 passengers, depending on luggage). Costs ~€40–50 per trip.
3. Car Rentals
Recommended for flexibility during your stay.
Book from Athens Airport for convenience.
Choose a car with good ground clearance (SUVs preferred) due to the final dirt road near the villa.
Search "Villa Delenia" starting from Nea Styra. Avoid starting from Athens Airport, as it may route you via the longer Chalkida Bridge.
Follow the route via Polypotamos village (marked as 2 minutes longer but faster in practice).
Near the end of your journey, do not turn left at the white cabin in Elaiochori, even if GPS suggests it. Instead, continue straight on the asphalt road, driving around the church and cemetery.
