Our Story

Picture of Our Story
Our story began in 2020. In 2018 Chris decided that he was going to become a United States Marine. In August of 2019 he began boot camp. During this time Sasha was entering her senior year of high school, excited to finally graduate. As the months went by, Chris graduated boot camp, went to MCT, and then to the school house to learn his MOS. While Chris was going through his schooling, Sasha became devastated to learn that her Senior year of high school was ruined due to the global pandemic. She was no longer able to see friends, go to school in person, or even get a senior prom. While at home during the pandemic, Sasha called one of her friends that had also joined the Marine Corps, who was currently in the school house. During the FaceTime call Chris passed by. Sasha, thinking that her friend had his airpods in, said out loud “wow he’s super cute”. Chris had heard her and from there our journey together began. Sasha flew out to California to meet Chris in July 2020. A month later she began her move to go live there with him. That same month Chris had proposed and Sasha said yes! From there we got married through a ticket booth at the Angels stadium. We soon got our first place together and turned it into a home. A little over a year later we found out we were expecting our first baby girl, Rylie Mae. After Rylie came into the world we started our new life as parents together. 6 months later came another surprise, our second baby girl, Laila Grace. Although we were not prepared, we were excited to have another baby to add to our family! During this pregnancy Chris re-enlisted in the Marine Corps. We were going to be sent to Okinawa, Japan. Last minute, Sasha was denied to go due to complications with the pregnancy. Chris pulled many strings in order to stay in America with his family. Within a months worth of work, he was able to keep himself here. We then moved 30 minutes away into our new house only a month before Sasha was going to give birth. Soon enough, Laila made her way into the world. We quickly adjusted to being parents of 2 under 2. Now, after 4 years, we are finally planning our wedding day! We are excited to have you be there with us to celebrate not only our wedding, but our love, our family we’ve created, and the endless memories to come.
