Our Wedding

Our Love Story We met while getting my son’s haircut. Mike approached me, and what began as a simple conversation quickly turned into something unforgettable. He even followed me to the nail shop just so we could keep talking, and from that moment on, the rest was history. “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and receives favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22 Our journey felt as if it had been written long before we met. From the moment our paths crossed, there was an undeniable spark and a connection so natural it seemed destined. As we spent more time together, our bond deepened effortlessly. We laughed, dreamed, and created countless cherished memories, weaving our lives into a tapestry of love and understanding. Mike embraced my son as his own, and together we naturally became a family built on love, respect, and faith. Through every season of life, our love has been a steady anchor. We are each other’s confidant, supporter, and best friend. Our faith has remained the cornerstone of our relationship, reminding us that God’s hand has been guiding our steps all along. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2024, Mike got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. In that moment, I went from his girlfriend to his fiancée, my heart overflowing with love, joy, and excitement. Soon, I will also have the greatest honor of becoming his wife. Now, as we stand on the threshold of this new chapter, our hearts are filled with gratitude and anticipation. Surrounded by the love of our family and friends, we cannot wait to celebrate not just our wedding day but the lifetime of love, faith, and laughter that lies ahead. I am truly grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Having my sister Princess as my maid of honor means the world to me. She has been my rock, my biggest cheerleader, and the one who knows my heart without me saying a word. We have shared laughter, tears, secrets, and dreams and now I am honored to share this special chapter of my life with her by my side. I could not imagine walking this journey without her. Growing up, my wonderful cousin Hendesha and I shared an unbreakable bond. From our childhood escapades to our late night heart to heart conversations, we’ve been Indivisible. Her joyful spirit has always been a source of light in my life. Having her stand by my side as a bridesmaid on my wedding day fills me with immense gratitude and happiness. I know Mama is in heaven, smiling down on us.

Meet Nastassia, affectionately known as Nas. Our journey together began in primary school back in Jamaica, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. As my fellow Taurean sister, Nas brings a vibrant energy to everything she does. Nas is a true friend who uplifts me in every situation and is deeply God fearing, embodying the virtues of a woman who fears the Lord. Having her as a bridesmaid on my special day is a testament to our lifelong friendship and the bond we share.

Jehidy, ever since we met, she has been a source of support. Her loyalty and kindness have illuminated my journey, and I am forever grateful for her constant presence.
