Where to Stay

Iona is a very small and very popular island so that means we need to be a little more organised in regards to accommodation. We would recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible. Nat is planning to organise some golf on the Friday and there will be other activities for non-golfers, everyone is welcome to join but there is no obligation to come early . All accommodation is within walking distance of beaches and village hall. Here are some of the options below but you are welcome to look for yourself, Airbnb have some options too. It takes quite a long time to get to the island so you might want to stay a little longer than one night or stop off somewhere on the way.

The Argyll Hotel

The Argyll Hotel is situated on the main street and has around 20 rooms- please see link below for more details and phone to book. Please either e-mail or telephone – because they have blocked the rooms off and will appear as fully booked online.

St Columba Hotel

Glamping Pods

There are glamping pods on the island. The facilities at the pods are great and should be no problem getting ready! Please see link below for more details. The pods are not available currently to book online but please email Dot who manages them and she has agreed to pencil our guests in and then confirm the rate and take deposits once next 2024's bookings open officially.
