A Perfect Match

Picture of A Perfect Match

In 2019, Satajah and DeCarius met on a dating app named Tinder. What started off as a simple conversation turned into years of love and laughter.

On January 19, 2021, two years later, Satajah and DeCarius went on their first date at Java Primo in Magnolia, Arkansas. The date went so well that they stayed until the restaurant closed. Not wanting the night to end they decided to sit and talk and before you know it it was 2 AM. Who knew a simple swipe right would lead to a lifetime of happiness?

DeCarius proposed on December 25, 2021 in front of Satajah‘s family and friends.

A Glimpse of the Proposal:

DeCarius hands Satajah a box filled with pictures of special moments throughout their relationship with notes attached to each picture.

The notes read as follows:

“It started off as a simple conversation. You were hell-bent to be there at my many crises. Satajah you’re my greatest investment. Our relationship has been my love letter to you and has been poetry in motion!"

"You’ve seen me at my highs and I’ve seen you at your emotional lows. The heart felt patience, endowed with genuine real love, with understanding has been the brick and mortar I have use to build this relationship."

"When I saw your tinder profile I said in my mind I could walk away from one date, little did I know your innocent love would be infectious.

"From date to date, birthday to birthday, your heart cannot lie nor hide who you are and you stayed and also persisted and so has our love. Your family doesn’t know the true me because Tajah I see you with eyes of wisdom I’ve even caught you slipping but I’m not done yet. My love you’ve been my biggest work yet.”

After reading the notes, Satajah opened a card and it read:

“Prepare for takeoff because my mind games are almost complete. I’m so wrapped up in you; you’ve already given me a gift that’s one of A kind and satisfaction guaranteed. You've spoiled me in so many ways I want you to know there’s no greater gift then your amazing, must have, everything to wish for, love. Merry Christmas! As I welcome you to The Williams Show… Satajah will you marry me?”
